The Nassau County SPCA has   once again done a great service to the community. They rescued over 100 animals from a home is Syossett, NY. Our rescue volunteered to foster 35 Guinea Pigs for the SPCA.   We had to scramble for cages, and supplies to provide proper care for these animals. We were not quite equipped for 35 Guinea Pigs, after all we are a private small animal rescue., but thanks to all   the caring and generous people out there who came to   us in OUR time of need with cages, and supplies made it happen! You ALL rescued us, so to speak. Thank you for helping us help them!!

I would also like to thank the Nassau County S.P.C.A. for contacting us. We have been doing animal rescue for over 12 years now privately. We did not know that there was such a NEED for   foster care, and small animal rescues on the Island.   Our rescue would not have expanded the way that we did, and now   we know that there is a great demand for us. We want to help   the animals, and people a like. Situations arrise, and sometimes thing happen that we cannot control. We   want   people to know that   WE  ARE HERE FOR YOU & YOUR PETS TOO!  

The Nassau County S.P.C.A. is an all volunteer organization that also depends upon generous donations.   They do not get paid for all of their hard work, and extra time that they put into this organization.   They too need some funding to continue their much needed cause.   So many animals depend upon their service to them, as well as the community.
